About the
Calendar Frank Morrison was born in Massachusetts, but grew up in New Jersey. As a pre-teen, he created brilliant and colorful 'tags and R.I.P.' scenes throughout the city, gaining him considerable street recognition and local acclaim. While dancing and touring in Europe, he visited what is perhaps the most famous art museum in the world, the Louvre in Paris, France. Looking at the works of the Masters reminded him of what he had reached for in his graffiti pieces. With a renewed vision and an informed eye, the still-teenage Morrison followed his heart and began the development of an expressive style of his own. Collectors of his work include former New York City School Chancellor Rudy Crew, Louisians state senator Gregory Tarver, renowed actor/philanthropist Bill Cosby, and activist Dr. Lorraine Hale. His works have enhanced the settings of television programs such as "Malcolm and Eddie," "New York Undercover," and "Cosby, and have been featured on the Home Shopping Network. |
